I'm aiming for this to be an open forum for people seeking a place to hang out with like-minded people after leaving Scratch. It was inspired by the awesome community known as Ta's Hangout, combined with a desire to bring that to a more public space (similar to the way that the Scratch Forums function now). Create an account! I advise using your scratch username as your username, just so people know who you are.
Make a post! This is just getting started, so please post! I'd love to get some content on here.

Also, to answer a few questions:

Q: What does this solve that the Scratch Forums don't?
A: The Scratch Forums are 1) horrible to use and archaic, 2) restricted to the Scratch website, and 3) designed mostly to talk about Scratch. This forum is focused on providing a similar supportive creative environment, but beyond just Scratch projects.

Q: Do I have to follow Scratch guidelines here?
A: Basically. The only Scratch guideline that doesn't apply here is regarding outside communication. You are welcome to share contact information, though do be aware that this is a public forum and by doing so you risk your own privacy.
